Chinese tea culture, profound and innovative, sees the rapid growth of Ready-To-Drink (RTD) for its convenience in fast-paced life.Blended teas, such as yuanyang milk tea, fruit tea, and tea with alcohol, combine traditional tea with various elements, wideningthe tea-drinking spectrum.
From 2016 to 2022, China's freshly-made tea industry market size grew from 29.1 billion yuan to 293.9 billion yuan, with an average annual compound growth rate of 47%.
Expectedly, with normalized consumption habits and convenient takeout services, themarket size will keep growing steadily and reach 374.9 billion yuan by 2025.
In 2021, the RTD beverage market was worth $89 billion and is projected to hit $141.85 billion by 2029, with a 6.00% CAGR in the forecast period.
(A)Competition Format
The event has preliminaries and finals. In the finals, contestants create works with judges and draw for mentor teaming. Partner exhibitors form an audience jury, accounting for 30% of the score. The top three by comprehensive score get the champion, runner-up, third place and a bonus package.
(B)Competition Content
In each stage of the competition, contestants are required to make one beverage with a specified theme on site. They should select materials from the material pool of the designated sponsor according to the competition rules to create a creative beverage.
