Fermented Food Zone
In 2021 show, the China Food Institute and Sinolight International Holdings Corporation jointly organized a group to participate in the exhibition and co-hosted the "International Large Food Industry Cluster Development Summit Forum" with the organizer of the exhibition. Leaders from the Consumer Goods Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, experts from JD Big Data Research Institute, China Agricultural University, and other participants deeply interpreted issues such as industrial policies, technological innovations, and development trends of large food industry clusters at home and abroad, providing new concepts and dimensions for the food industry.
In 2023 Show, the China Food Institute and Sinolight International Holdings Corporation jointly organized the "Chinese Brand Food Theme Exhibition Group" and the "Chinese Fermented Food Theme Exhibition Group"; and in conjunction with the exhibition organizer, they co-hosted the "2023 Quzhou, Zhejiang China's Sanqu Flavor Brand Food Special Release Conference" and the "Whisky and Baijiu - Chinese Market Consumption Trends Forum". The release conference actively invited leaders from the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, China National Light Industry Group Corporation, the People's Government of Quzhou City, the Quzhou City Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, and the Quzhou City Investment Promotion Center as high-profile guests to attend and give speeches, combining innovative releases and tasting activities to further enhance the exhibition. The trend forum invited guests from the China Alcoholic Drinks Association, the Irish Food Board, and the Scottish International Development Agency to engage in in-depth discussions on topics such as whisky consumption trends, market analysis, and the consumption trends of whisky and Chinese baijiu.
In 2024, the "Fermented Food Zone" makes a strong comeback! Chinese fermented foods have a long history and a rich variety, and they are an important part of the food industry. Fermented foods created through the interaction of three bodies (microorganisms, animals, and plants) not only produce pleasant flavors and textures, more importantly, generate mysterious factors beneficial to human health through complex metabolic processes, which need further exploration. At the 2024 show, the China Food Fermentation Industry Research Institute and Koelnmesse (Beijing) Co., Ltd. jointly hosted "The First Fermented Food and Nutritional Health Forum". The theme of this forum was "Fermented Foods - The Great Health Code Co-brewed by Three Bodies". More than 200 experts from universities and research institutions, food enterprise managers, technical R&D personnel, and marketing personnel gathered together to discuss the development of the fermented food and nutritional health industry, and to gain insights into the current trends of innovation.
The forum announced the specific content and plan of the "Fermented Foods into Ten Thousand Homes - Natto First Public Welfare Action" jointly launched by the China Food Institute, the National Food and Fermentation Industry Information Center, and the Food Special Committee of the China Consumer Goods Quality Safety Promotion Association. Through means such as research and development innovation and market promotion, the initiative aims to promote the popularization of the market for fermented foods, especially natto, and further enhance the public's understanding and acceptance of fermented foods.
The Chinese Fermented Food Exhibition Group will highlight its distinctive features, showcase concentrated displays, and reflect innovation. Institutions such as the China Food Fermentation Industry Research Institute, Sinolight International Holdings Corporation, and the National Food and Fermentation Industry Information Center will provide a range of technical and information services to the members of the exhibition group.
