The business of CIQA covers food and agricultural product import and export, animal and plant quarantine, health quarantine, international travel health, commodity inspection, international cooperation as well as service of standards, testing, certification, conformity assessment and market access etc. CIQA works closely with governments, organizations, institutions, universities, enterprises home and abroad, including State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), General Administration of Customs China (GACC), local governments, embassies in China, international organizations and multinationals etc., forming an efficient service platform.
China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Association (CIQA) approved to be set up by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in 1991, is the only nationwide nonprofit making social organization in the area of testing, inspection and quarantine, composed voluntarily of the entry-exit inspection and quarantine enterprises, institutions, related social organizations and practitioners. With the guidance and support of State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) and General Administration of Customs China (GACC), CIQA works as the bridge between governments and members and makes its endeavor in ensuring quality of import or export commodities and promoting sustainable development of ecological environment so as to offer better services to the policy of opening to the outside world and economic development of China.
Protected eco-origin products (PEOP) is an ecological certification which is widely recognized in China and gradually recognized all over the world.
